Scharelant is dedicated to the path of self development; to nurturing and fostering courage and awareness. We also feel the land itself is meant to be shared, that we and the house are just temporary guests, or stewards, in a much larger and longer order. Our heartfelt intention is held in the name of Scharelant and the meaning contained within it. When we looked into the origins of "Share" we found its origin had taken a path from Old English, through the Middle English "schare," to what it is today. We went through the same process with "Land," it had passed through "lant" - putting the two together we created Scharelant, pronounced shar-LONT.

We invite and encourage other like minded teachers or lecturers to consider Scharelant and its sacred, healing energy as an incredible location to share with others.
